Mark A. Klingler is a scientific illustrator at Carnegie Museum of Natural History. He studied at Carnegie Mellon University and Pennsylvania Academy of the Arts. He is an active member of Guild of Natural Science Illustrators. His artwork has appeared in museums and galleries across the country. Klingler’s solo art shows by invitation include American Association for the Advancement of Science in Washington, DC, and the Capital Building in Harrisburg, PA. Through lectures and workshops, themed Field to Studio: The Artwork of Mark A. Klingler, he enjoys sharing his experiences. Klingler illustrated Field Guide to the Natural World of Washington, D.C. He finds inspiration for images spending time in the yard and gardenwith his family.
