9/3/26 MAL General Membership Meeting (Speaker John Hinderliter)

McMurray Art League general membership meeting in person. The public is welcome!

The speaker is portrait and figure artist, John Hinderliter.

John came to Pittsburgh in 1975 to attend art school at the Ivy School of Professional Art, a competitor of the Art Institute. Afterwards he made a career as an illustrator for 50 years, working for every advertising agency in Pittsburgh, Penguin Randomhouse, the Wall St. Journal and many others, using both traditional and digital tools. He taught an illustration class for 5 years at LaRoche College. Most recently he is a fine arts painter, primarily in oils. John has won awards for his advertising, publishing and now fine arts work.
