History Inspires Art Show

Friday, June 3, 2016 - Sunday, July 10, 2016

Fort Pitt Museum

The Fort Pitt Museum invites you to explore Pittsburgh’s rich history this summer by visiting History Inspires, a group art exhibition, in the William Pitt hall, located on the museum’s first floor.

Stop by to see works by 10 local, contemporary artists who have drawn inspiration from the 18th century history of Western Pennsylvania. This multi-medium art show will be something for everyone to enjoy.

The art show will be open to all museum visitors during Fort Pitt Museum’s regular hours (10 a.m. to 5 p.m.) and will run until July 10. As an added bonus, visitors will be able to vote for the “Best in Show.” The winner will be announced on July 11.
