We will meet to discuss "The Keeper of Lost Art: A Sweeping WWII Novel of Italy, Botticelli's Lost Primavera, and a Tuscan Villa's Wartime Secrets" by Laura Morelli.

Field trip to the Carnegie International exhibit (Thursday, August 27, 2026)

Plans are being made for MAL members to have docent-led tour of the Carnegie International Show on Thursday, August 27th. We can carpool from the studio, arriving at CMOA at 10:00 am. We can spend 10 – 12 visiting the show, and then enjoy lunch together at their CAFÉ. A few MAL members are CMOA members and can share free entry tickets with attendees.

Paint Out at Malcolm Parcell's property "Moon Lorn" (Saturday, October 17, 2026)

Remember the fun art talk about local artist Malcolm Parcell's property he named "Moon Lorn"? Well, we were able to secure a date in the fall when the leaves are turning to paint plein air on the property. We'll also have a fun tour of his house and studio that we learned about in the art talk.

We'll have access to a bathroom and his studio space to paint in should we have inclement weather. Bring your lunch and join us for a fun day 10/17/26 10-2!

There is no charge for access to the property but a donation is appreciated in the jar on the property. The address of Moon Lorn is 357 Parcell Rd, Prosperity, PA 15329.

Laura Sippos, Mixed Media: Creating with Fiber and Beadwork (Saturday, November 21, 2026)
